Alone I am…Not Lonely

Jaibala/ September 23, 2016/ Poetry/ 22 comments

Alone I am, I don’t hear a sound

The noise of silence, that’s all around,

It whispers softly in my ears,

Slowly wiping away all my tears

Lessons I learn, Regret be gone,

Look at me …alone I am.

Not Lonely; yet you cannot see

The little boat causing waves, in the sea,

I have not lost, all things said

The battle won inside my head,

Belief, dreams and hope fill within,

Passion always with me….not lonely.

  1. Sometimes, being ‘alone’ is better than being in the midst of fake people. Okay, I know that’s not the gist of the poem, but I felt like say ing that 🙂
I’m going to repeat myself – you’re an awesome poet.
