Goodbye and Farewell

Jaibala/ May 1, 2014/ Poetry

When you walk out,

Please don’t come back,

I’d really wish you well,

Only if your goodbye meant farewell.

The adjustments and compromises,

All those second chances,

You used them like a knell,

This time Goodbye means farewell.

Know I lost the faith,

When you tossed the lies,

And In the past I don’t want to dwell,

You said your Good bye, I say Farewell.
