Power Of Words

Words have power

To change the direction, and

To solace find

Made them  funny

That is what you think

Infact they sting

Sometimes they hurt

And at times they judge,

Know you must

Its not intentional

 We would want to believe

But someone weeps

Everyone is different

Every life’s struggle their own

Don’t harshly judge

Jest for you

Might be heartache for some

Write consciously everytime.

Prompt 13

    1. Thanks Pix 🙂

      1. I like your poetry. Mainly because I can understand it! 😛

I’m hopeless when it comes to understanding, writing poetry!! 😀

        1. You write amazing poetry when you do. 😀 And makes me super glad to know my poetry is understandable. 🙂

  2. Lifesaver you are, Jaibala. And Nicely done too 🙂

    1. Sid Thanks 😀

  3. Good point, that though we may refer to it offhand, it might mean a lot more to someone else.

But it makes me wonder, can a piece of writing be acceptable by all? How do you write consciously that no one is offended?

    1. The intention matters I think. If you don’t mean to offend it wont sound be offensive. 🙂
