The Dream

Jaibala/ September 20, 2014/ Poetry

Afraid that all alone I am

That is when I see her

I do all that I can

Going that high was not the plan,

Heights scare me, till all is a blur

Afraid that all alone I am,

Landing safely fast I ran,

At the horizon I see shelter,

To be there I do all that I can

My presence I foreran,

But caused not a stir,

Afraid that all alone I am,

Knowing faces all around pan,

But of feelings could not be barer,

I have done all that I can,

A dream I wish never began,

But reality could not be surer,

Afraid that all alone I am

I did do all that I can.
