Unlove

They tell me I will smile,
And Soon all will be fine,
Keep inching ahead mile after mile,
All it takes is time.

They say be grateful for the days,
and look back and smile,
The days, now just a haze,
Its really been a while,

You don’t have to feel sorry,
And know that i wont pretend,
Listen don’t worry,
This broken heart will mend.

They tell me time is now,
And I am blessed from above,
But can they just tell me how,
Do I learn to Unlove.

Its hard to let go,
Even harder to move on,
When you are the best part of me,
How can that be gone.

  7. Well, whoever is the “they”, they are right I think. Time heals most wounds, even heartbreak. And if time doesn’t, there’s always writing 🙂 Enjoyed reading your thoughts, heartbreaking as they may be.

    1. Well, Somethings fade away with time, yes but healing…..I wish they heal too. Also I wish somethings did not take so long to heal. 🙂

  8. Thank you Sridevi 🙂

  9. Neelesh coming from you this is a very big compliment 🙂

  11. Vulnerable, fragile and capturing the ethos of heartbreak so beautifully 🙂

  12. I can relate to this because someone in my family is going through the same phase and everybody is trying to console her. I'm sure this is what she feels like. You've captured the emotions of every person who's suffered a heartbreak.
